Big Island here we come.

It is always hectic
 doing the last minute things.

The usual merry go round of goodbyes.

We get on the Ferry quite frazzled
..............we as in me.

So now we are across the ditch and on the big Island.

The crossing was fairly rough lucky Sir and I have good sea legs.
Sir got to watch the footy
I went to the movies, a dodgy thing with the Muppets.

The first night on the big island was spent free camping at Byaduk.

A mere dot on the map,
 appearing to have nothing.

Nothing but a strong community spirit.

A lonely figure stands in memory of those who fought and died in the wars Boer 1 and 2
Names and Families remembered for their courage.

Of the forty lads that went to France in World War 1
 14 were killed in action.

What a loss to
this tiny community.

  We enjoy these little spots
the spirit thats still there
although the town as such has long gone.

For us  its onto SA and a catch up with family and friends.
