Keeping our hand in

We had the chance of catching
up with King R and Lady Ls' son
while in SA recently.
He has bought another property,
 to complement his other.

When we arrived they had the stock agent there
culling sheep (lambs) ready for market.

Couldn't help myself had to get in
and have a go.

You know the saying
Can take the girl out of the country
but not the country out of the girl

No Blundstone work boots for me this time,
ended up with some very muddy Merrills.

The O.C.C.
(The Old Codgers Circus)
aka King R and Sir.
Got in amongst it as well.

A job well done for the O.C.C.

A random shot.

So we had a go at keeping our hand in.
Our reflexes were slow,
our bodies not so agile,
the language still as colourful.
........ Sheep can be so frustrating.

The smells, the sounds
of working sheep still the same.

It was a lot fun,
but boy pleased
we don't have to do it for a living anymore.

Was great to see King Rs' son
growing and expanding,
a successful family business.

Good decision Prince M.

xDee

P.S. Was glad we were only working with lambs.
