Birthday and Celebrations

We had arranged to meet the other part of the family at Mannum. 

Mannum is on the River Murray only an hour so from Adelaide. 

They were travelling up the river on a houseboat.

Stopping in Mannun for the birthday celebrations.

We were coming from the north in our caravan, 

the planets aligned 

and we got to meet all the family.

Mannum is an interesting town one that I'd never been too.

A right little gem. 

Some good shopping to be had 

and the bakery does a mean coffee.

On the list to explore some more.

We parked over the river in a reserve,

lovely spot.

Had to take the ferry across to town.

Got to be on first name basis with the drivers

with all the tooing and froing.

They ran in tandem so no waiting.

The main reason for the get together was for the big 60 celebrations.

Kids and adults all had fun on the river

A rare occasion when we get to see the other family 

especially en famille.

Special times special memories.
