We all have them don't we?
Favourite clothes.
Did you ever look down
and think
geez these old things are sooooo old.
Not that I am.
Had a look at my attire today

Just a quick glance
the "trackies" and top
the "trackies" and top
are faded holey and oh so comfy.
They go way back.
Believe me that's way back
Back to the days when I played sport.
Nowadays they stay in the van
"retired" until we travel.

Started me thinking,
We all have or favourite things.
Things we grow too attached to.
That are hard to part with,
kept well beyond their used by date.

Lady L and her pink hat travelled many years too. Handy for spotting her in the red desert. |
Sir and his jacket are good mates from way back too. (Lake Burberry Tassie) |
Sirs hat Not so smick now but much loved. (N.T Ivanhoe Crossing) |
It's great that we are comfortable
in our old trackies etc
as well as in ourselves.
Maybe we are right up there
in fashion
in our shabby clothing.
Personally
think the young ones dress
way too casual.
But who am I to know.
I am
My clothes are telling me that.
xDee
