Sir and I woke up the other morning 

and decided on a road trip.

Off to Hobart we go.

We had been seeing and reading a lot 

about the Museum Monah.

The entrance like Coober Pedy mostly was underground

Where else in the world do you stroll across a tennis court to the entrance

Because I can't show you any of the art

......no photos allowed.........

believe me it was interesting.

Sometimes explicit

sometimes confronting

and sometimes quite shocking

      The most amazing piece

to the law of only me

was Snake

 by Sidney Nolan

 a mural made out of 1620

individual paintings. 

A very special piece.

Fantastic to see this masterpiece 

 has finally found a home

The architecture of the building

was quite stunning and unique.

Well worth a visit 

just for the enjoyment of the building and environs.

 Now on the must see list for visitors.
