Thought I show off a bit more.

Grindelwald 
 a little town near us

in the northern part of Tassie.

There is a lovely story

of how it came to be.

When a Mr Vos sold his chain of supermarkets

 he built this village for his wife

 based on Grindelwald 
a place in Switzerland that she loved.

He got too
...... as you do.....
and made two lakes 

 then built Swiss style chalets/homes 

arround them.

Viola

 a Swiss village in Tassie.

And one very happy Mrs Vos

At the heart of this 
is a swiss styled resort.

Sweet little chapel on the edge of Lake Louise

As with any resort there are fun things for families 

very handy 

keeps the young-uns and us olds amused

Just about to taste some blackberries on edge of lake

Just sorting out the birds to be fed

Aren't we lucky 

we

get a taste of Switzerland just up the road.
