I'm a Squilter

Lady L is a quilter and very very good.

Lady L has created the most amazing patchwork quilts.

To keep the creative juices going 

during our travels she has a stash of materials,

her machine, cutters etc tucked on board.

I get to see an expert creating beautiful patchwork quilts.

A couple of times under her guidance
 during our travels
 "squilts" were made 
for the gorgeous ones.

"Kick and piddles" they're called.
Ones you throw on the floor
for the bubs to lay on.

The thing is with all the will in the world

 I can't cut a straight line

 or sew a straight line.

So to help my battered ego,

have decide that as my quilts are all skew-wiff.

 Designed by a talented lady Janelle Wind,
called Candy Girl.
Perfect pattern and excellent instructions,
 but made by me its still a squilt!

Anyways 
the Gorgeous Ones love their "squilts".

 J-G-B has put in an order,
 one for Gorgeous One Miss A-B.
She's going into a big girls bed soon.

Lady L and I have had fun 
going to fabric shops dotted around the country
collecting bits of material.

Handy too have the eye of an expert.
